Ladders represent the connection between heaven and earth, enlightenment or progress. The ladder symbol is found in many religions and ancient cultures. It also echos the visual structure of DNA. We commonly use phrases which involve ‘climbing the ladder’ in terms of career success and personal achievement. In this series, they are symbolic of progression toward self awareness and a higher realm of consciousness. It is not a short or swift journey. Each rung must be individually navigated by staying balanced and grounded, moving forward one step at a time.
